My Facebook Status tonight:
"Wendie is feeling sad for the USA. People have been fooled. Change is coming, but I'm pretty sure you're not going to like it."
Now, I wonder, when we look back on this day one year from now, how many will wish they'd chosen differently? When taxes aren't lower, jobs aren't more plentiful, and our constitution is being attacked at its very heart, will we wish we'd chosen differently? When all the eloquent speeches are a distant memory, will we all be able to see the real truth we missed? The radical world around us is cheering today. They want a different America than we do. Will we be cheering with them next year?
I can only say what I feel today. I don't "know" any better than any of you. I just feel that we, as a country, have stepped away from God today. It feels like more than a political choice. I hope I'm wrong.

I agree with you. People voted with their emotions, not their head. And it's going to come back and bite them in the bum!
Our country is headed in the direction of France or the UK; a has-been, socialist, former world power. A government big enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take everything you have. (And personally, I still want to see his birth certificate.)
Amen to that Amy! Since when was Kenya a state in America?
I love your comment and Amy's too. People have bought into the idea that government can fix there lives and with that comes a lack of accountability and self respect. I believe in the America where we "can" be anything we want not where we are "owed" everything. A sad day but I hope people can see the truth through the marketing over the next four years.
